My residency at the CCFA was completely invaluable. I chose to come to Corning at a major turning point in my careers work. Being an established exhibiting painter of over 10 years, Corning allowed me an opportunity to have a very focused and intensive studio environment that helped me make the transition in my work very easily. Corning Center for the Fine Arts has really shocked me. It's very proactive for the artists who display there, and it's customer base is like no other that I have experienced before. I have had shows in many of the larger metropolitian areas, even right in the center of the "art scene", and I have sold more pieces at Corning in a very short amount of time than all other places combined.
